About Cheryl Kaplan, CCC-SLP; COM

Cheryl Kaplan, CCC-SLP; COM, Director, established the Speech Therapy Center, LLC, in 1997. She has over 30 years experience working with preschoolers, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics who have speech, language, auditory processing, myofunctional (tongue thrust) and oral motor disorders. Cheryl has worked in private practice, schools, rehab facilities, nursing homes, and in-home care. Cheryl is licensed in New Jersey and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Pathology through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Cheryl also earned her Certificate of Orofacial Myology (COM) through the International Association of Orofacial Myology (IAOM) in 2017. She also has her Speech-Language Specialist certification by the State of New Jersey Department of Education.
